I dragged myself into the library. Funny how it was only the first real week of school and here, all of my teachers have already given me homework assignments. Honestly, I thought that wasn't really fair at all. Slamming my books down on a table, I slid into a seat now. Pulling my nootbook out, as well as a pen, I then opened up my biology book. But of course, rather than start problems 1 through 10 odd numbers, I found myself gazing out the window towards the fields now. A loud sigh escaped me, I could be playing lacrosse right now or chatting it up with a cute jock. But no, here I was trying to learn about biology.

I walked into the library, planning to sit by myself. But all of the tables were full. "Can I sit here?" I asked, pointing to the spot across from a girl sitting by the window.

My mind had been so distracted by what was going outside that I hadn't even noticed that people were walking into the library. Some kids were playing out on the field at the moment, various sports, but still, they weren't in the library. A voice broke my thoughts of freedom though, "Can I sit here?" I glanced away from the window now and over to see a guy, a cute guy, but nonethelss a guy, "Yeah, of course you can," I replied with a smile before grabbing my books and pulling them all over to my side of the table now, giving him room, "I'm Bliss by the way."

As he sat down, he told me his name. Short and simple, and cryptic I must say. I watched him as Scotty pulled out his Alegebra book already. Already, I could probably pity him now, "Math, huh? Your teachers are giving you homework already too, huh?"

I simply nodded and tried to get back to my work now. But of course, it was still rather distracting having a guy sit across from. Actually, anybody sitting across from me would prove to be distracting, because, after all, talking is far more interesting that biology or math, "Do you play any sports?" I asked nonchalantly. After all, that was what Hamilton High was most notorious for.

Well, somebody was an athelet alright. I hadn't been expecting that much, "I came here for the lacrosse program," I offered now, "But I do cross country for the conditioning since I only get to play lacrosse in the spring time. Are you varisty soccer or JV?" I asked him now.

Well. Somebody was talkative. Sighing, I went back to looking at my biology now, but I still couldn't concentrate. Perhaps life had other plans for me at the moment.
